Stage Managers
Stavros  is a an established writer, composer, producer and stage director currently based in Europe.
Singer/Songwriter:
Stavros  first entered the world of entertainment as a Singer/Songwriter in 1976, released several
albums with Polygram Records, won a number of prizes, was awarded three gold and two platinum
albums and has twice represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest. At the time that he was
still pursuing a singing career: Stavros was voted “Most Popular Singer” in Cyprus for seven
consecutive years.
Radio & TV Presenter:
Stavros has also hosted his own highly popular radio programs and a groundbreaking television series
named “Persona & Persona Non Grata.” CNN, BBC, EURONEWS and other international TV
networks have periodically broadcasted clips from his TV shows worldwide.
Writer/Lyricist/Composer:
His first Rock Opera, “The Archon” was staged at the Civic Theatre in Johannesburg in 1979. Since
then, he has written, composed produced and directed a number of very successful musicals around
the world including, “Demons” in Greece starring Greek superstar Anna Vissi, “Five Guys Named
Moe” mounted in New York, “Bite” a rock show still playing in Las Vegas and “Ode to the Gods” a
one act opera which Stavros was commissioned to write, compose, produce and direct for HRH
Queen Elizabeth II.
Producer/Director:
Stavros served as a Creative Producer/Director for a number of years at the Regency Casino in
Greece, the biggest casino in Europe, at the theatre of which he created, produced and directed over
thirty major stage shows and musicals.
Screenwriter:
Stavros is currently developing his screenplays “Poets Never Die” and “Lucky Black Jack” in Los
Angeles whereas, at the same time, pursuing his goal to stage his hit musical “Pygmalion & Galatea”
in Las Vegas and his latest musical, “La Divina” (based on the life of Maria Callas) at La Scala Opera
House in Milan starring Oscar winning actor/director Roberto Benigni, Al Bano and Marti Montserrat.
